I have joined the Weekend Dirty Dozen on Facebook. What does that mean exactly? Well, a group of authors will post a dozen sentences from either a work in progress or a published piece for your enjoyment each week. You should be able to read back though my past weeks once I get rolling as I never remember to delete anything. Today's entry is 12 lines from Untamable - a hot erotic cowboy tale of love lost to misunderstanding and of course regained - it is romance after all. We assume the HEA but the fun comes in the ride and who better to ride with than a bronco buster? Yee-haw and saddle up!
“Stop running from me, Lily.” His beautiful amber eyes
almost glowed as he closed in. His chest brushed against hers. Heat radiated from
him as it always did, her personal heater on a cold winter day. Her personal hell when she tried to
resist him.
“Let me go.”
“No. We’re done doing things your way.”
A delicious shiver shimmied down her back at his commanding
tone. If only she could turn everything over to him. If only things were that easy.
“No more pretending
you don’t want me.”
Oooohhh! Goota love a cowboy who takes command! NICE!
